I’ve been natural for 1 year and a couple months. I tried just cutting off my relaxed ends, but I felt like that wasn’t “enough”, so a couple weeks later my sister and I got a pair of scissors and started chopping away. I was unsure about it for awhile, so I hid behind weave.
A couple months ago I decided to give up on the weaves and embrace my natural hair. Here I am today, with a head full of nappy hair. I wouldn’t want to have it no other way.
